This morning when we woke up, the furnace was not working. Being afeared of pipes freezing, I offered to stay and keep the "home fires burning!" I was sitting near the stove, reading the proverb of the day, when I came upon these verses:
When there is no wood, the fire goes out;
And where there is no talebearer, strife ceases.
As charcoal is to burning coals, and wood to fire,
So is a contentious man to kindle strife.
Proverbs 26:20-21
How Providential! : )

Wow, that is really neat!
How true. And how often I fail at putting the flames out.
Same here, Tash!
