What Fire is in Mine Ears....

This morning when we woke up, the furnace was not working. Being afeared of pipes freezing, I offered to stay and keep the "home fires burning!" I was sitting near the stove, reading the proverb of the day, when I came upon these verses:

When there is no wood, the fire goes out;
And where there is no talebearer, strife ceases.
As charcoal is to burning coals, and wood to fire,
So is a contentious man to kindle strife.
Proverbs 26:20-21

How Providential! : )

Much Ado About Much To Do!

I haven't been able to post lately due to the fact that I am involved in Southern Maine Association of Shakespearean Homeschoolers' production of Much Ado About Nothing. I am one of the assistant directors as well as having a bit part. It has been a blessing to work with the teens and kids in this group as they are respectful, intelligent and fun. They love being around one another, treat each other in a brotherly/sisterly manner and they love the Lord.

If you're able to come see the show, you will thoroughly enjoy it and learn from it. The play has a shadow of the gospel in it and teaches lessons on loving communication, redemption, purity and forgiveness, as well as being quite funny!

"Note this before my notes:
There's not a note of mine that's worth the noting."

"May I be so converted and see with these eyes? I cannot tell;"

Hope to see you there!
