Updates of the doldrums and a few ecstasies

Well, we are now without a computer for an indefinite amount of time, but thankfully I have a generous sister and brother-in-law who live in close proximity to me!! Now for a few updates:
Kayla- the cutie-patootie preggo- is doing very well. Right now she is off with her in-laws on a musical tour of Canada. They are extremely gifted musically and we are all praying that they will have a fruitful tour and God would use them mightily! But I do miss her A LOT!!
Here is a photo of my niece- Natasha Mishayla Amanda Denny! Just kidding, of course. I will be most blessed with whatever gender baby Kayla and Josiah have. I'm too exciting about being an aunt to care about such unimportant details! : ) (but if it's a girl we could use a combination of our names to create a totally new name- like Nashda or Mitada or Amshaysha or Tashayda.... ok, I guess I like the name they picked better!)
With Spring we are outside a ton and enjoying watching the new green life around our house- although we are still unsure of most of the plants and bushes. It's a mystery!!! Ethan and I have started Creation or Nature Journals, which is a really neat way to get natural science in and explore the world that God has created in our area and others.

April, May and June will all be very busy months for us. We'll be outside a lot, getting our veggie garden ready and taking care of the acorns that embed themselves in our lawn in scores everyday!! Our Saturdays are filled with workdays in preparation for camp and church cleanup, volleyball will be starting soon- YAY- and in June there will be babies and recitals, performances and family camp. In May I may (no pun intended) be staying in Poland for a week- it will be jolly good fun!
When I was in high school, I was involved in a thespian group titled "Southern Maine Association of Shakespearean Homeschooler" or SMASH. We did readings of Shakespeare, A Midsummer Night's Dream, The Tempest and a musical- Toad of Toad Hall. Those productions hold some of my fondest memories. I am blessed this year, to be part of the directing team as SMASH performs Love's Labour's Lost. We've had a couple of meetings and I just adore the cast already- they are a super group of kids who love God and want to bring out the virtuous themes and godly lessons in this play to spread the gospel. I'm terribly excited about it!

Anyway, those were some very dull updates in the life of this Chick. Hopefully I'll be able to post a bit more sometime soon. God has been teaching me so much since our computer went caput and I hope to share a bit with you all at some point!
Until then, may God bless you and keep you!
