The breathtaking views from the tops of the mountains.
The vibrant colors of the trees in the Autumn.

Walks in the Maine woods.

Rigorous hikes with friends and family.

The great diversity and opportunity in photography.

Maine's history!

Did I mention I liked hiking in the fall?

Rich agricultural heritage!

Amazing historical buildings and sites.

Singing and s'mores around the campfire.

Sunsets reflected in a still, glass lake.

Races- be they typical or ridiculous- at family camp!

Every moment of family camp, in general- even the sleeping!

Laughing so hard with friends that your stomachs hurt!

Dancing and adding years to your life!

Concerts of various forms- bluegrass, folk, classical, ect.

The godly women God has placed all around me!

Goofy friends who provide countless times of joy!

Theatrical experiences!

Planting a garden, from scratch!

Whoopie Pies- it's a Maine thing!

The vivid and various colors of the flowers.

A visit to the strawberry patch- one for the tub, one for me, one for the tub, one for me...

Flying above Maine as my brother-in-law pilots, being amazed at the handiwork of God.

Church renovation!

The first BIG snow!

Girls' days!

Ice-covered trees against an undimmed blue sky.

Musicals and plays at the Theatre at Monmouth.

Ping pong at family camp!

Multiple trips to Popham every summer.

A lady who knows how to handle the seagulls!

VOLLEYBALL!! (even though I'm not very good at it)

The fact that Mainers can still eat ice cream in the cold!

Spending extended periods of time with friends doing all sorts of fun things amidst Maine's natural beauties.

Relaxing on the hammock with a good book.

Kayaking!

No matter how long you've lived in Maine, there is always fun to be had, places to discover and explore and beauty and simplicity to photograph! If Maine is this nice, I can't imagine what Heaven will be like!
