Monday Musings

Hmmm...
I have found that it is a dangerous thing to have time to use that sound. I do a lot of that- on long car rides, while working in the garden, doing laundry or dishes or even when Ethan is on a non-stop talking streak about something of which I haven't the fondest clue (yes, I know it is wrong. I can be a bad sister more often than I wish to).

Sometimes these thoughts are productive and help in sorting things out. Other times they are just downright silly and wasteful. My goal in having a weekly post of this sort is to share some thoughts (ones that may be helpful or entertaining) and to ask for feedback from you. Sort of an interactive blog experience, if you catch my drift.

I love to listen to people's thoughts (most of the time, and as long as they are willing to answer my questions if I don't understand something). I have a couple of friends who think and process things outloud and it is so engaging! My desire in this is that people would be uplifted and encouraged concerning the simple things in life- no world problems solving, you hear!

So, with that said here is the question for the week:
How do you process things? Out loud, on paper, in your head??

Anyway, just a thought.....

I would have to say, on paper (you should read some of my silly ideas!) and in my head. Usually it starts in my head.

Out loud, on paper or in my head?

I believe that you already know the answer to this question for me. Although I studiously engage in all three, when I have a real puzzle to solve I talk it out.

Well I have to say all 3! But alot of time it's outloud..Yes I talk to walls. What great company they are.

Hmmmm....that's an interesting thing to contemplate!

I think that although I do all three things some, I tend to think things through in my head until I think that they are sufficiently developed to the point of being worth putting on paper, or being thrown out!

But with that said, I talk to myself a lot about things while I am working and such!

I'm so glad you all commented!
I'm sure you have A LOT of wonderful ideas, Tash!
Shneu? I like it!
I love listening to you think out loud, Lori! : )
Haha! Sarah, you crack me up!
I talk to myself while working, too, Samuel. : )
Jenna Benna- I DO remember your fondness for writing.... or lack thereof!

I'd have to say in my head and on paper. If I'm writing and can't work something out I have to think it out on paper.

Allot of the time I process things in my head. Then if it is worthy of approval I discuss it with Me,Myself and I or my closest family! Then if it passes through that Iron grid, the brilliant implements of "pen and paper" come into play!:)

Amanda, I am catching up on blog posts, so maybe no one will read this but, oh well.
I think I process thoughts in my head and out loud. I think when i really have to process things that are difficult, it is easier to work them through out loud. The other thing i do is sing through my math problems! You know 2(x+2)-x divided by 3 sounds better when it is sung!!!!
